[Photo courtesy of azrainman]I grow more and more bored of the British media. Fair enough, the current world economic situation is not optimal, but really.. what’s with the need to scaremonger the public with doom and gloom prophecies? I don’t know the future and you can bet neither do the media.. even though they try to convince the public they do. If anything, these are exciting times.
Man has always found a way to circumvent his problems.. why should this be any different? If I’ve learnt anything from life, it’s that the only certainty is change.. and yet for some odd reason so much emphasis is placed on “security”.. securing our jobs, securing our living arrangements, securing our families.. financial security. What a massive illusion we’ve created!
It’s amazing to think that banks were created for the safety of our money and now after so many years [Read on...]
[Photo courtesy of circo de invierno ~]I would like to present a different view on a concept which has most likely been covered quite extensively in the past. After recent events in my life, here’s my take on these two popular extremities:
More specifically, hell is born in the mind. After 28 years of development, has it only struck me now how everyone has a different version of reality. When you experience the dreamer personality at an extreme [Read on...]

[Photo courtesy of Victor Bezrukov]For years doctors have been using biofeedback as a reactive tool. A touch of the sniffles? High temperature? Stomach not sitting right? Good doctors are those who learn all about symptoms.. about how to read body language. It’s about time we started doing so as well, but in a proactive way. Your body sends out signals every day. This is a powerful mechanism that needs to be paid attention to more often. A conscious being has the power to transform it’s life, why let a biofeedback machine do it for you?
A lot of the things I’m going to talk about may be fairly obvious but first hand experience tells me that this is not always the case. When you’re hungry, your stomach grumbles; when you’re tired your eyes are heavy; when you’re cold you start to shiver.. this is biofeedback. [Read on...]

[Photo courtesy of why plus eight]I only really started to pick up on this point the other day. It’s amazing the amount you can learn from others, if only you take the time to listen.
If you don’t respect yourself then nobody else will
I’ve taken a long hard look at the situation.. the job, the people and the events.. and I wonder.. wonder why I don’t receive the respect I desire. Simply because I do not give it to myself. Surely the worst thing in existence is to value life according to wealth, social status, appearance and all other fleeting things. Since I’ve felt this way many times I know that you’ve felt this way too. Who can truly place value on a human life or on human potential? £100 000 in the bank? Owning a Bugatti Veyron? Being the sexiest woman on the planet? [Read on...]

[Photo courtesy of jam343]This is one of the reasons I started this site, to explore crazy ideas.. and I cant say I’ve seen much of this on the web so I think it’s time to explore it a little. Imagine this: travel back in time 150 years. C’mon, just do it. Release your creativity, do a bit of research into life at that time and picture yourself walking down a busy street on a Saturday afternoon. You meet up with a group of friends (people you’ve naturally known for quite a while) and oddly push on with a conversation about the future.. how that in 50 years a machine will be created to transport people by air and that in another 100 years millions will be flown around the globe every year. Honestly, what do you think their reaction would be? [Read on...]
